Granite Works
was established in 1987 at Chennai to initially promote
quarrying and export of premium black granite blocks
from the legendary 'Kunnam'
Village (about 150 kms from Chennai) for the Japanese
monument markets.From very modest beginnings, the firm
has taken giant strides and developed its product-mix
to include a variety of color granites and other hand
dressed products. Granite blocks are currently being
exported to Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Spain in
Europe besides Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Mainland
China in the Far East.
We, at Kunnam Granite Works, have
always held as our single most important business credo
that we should strive to provide what that the customer
desires. Our business transactions reflect this attitude
in spirit and form. On the financial side, this customer
driven initiative has helped us notch good sales figures
consistently helping the firm bag awards and certificates
from the Government of India for meritorious export
performances.
